What happens when you run a festival and it sells out in its first year? You bring it back for a second year; bigger and better, of course. That's basically the brief but killer history of the triumphant Incineration Fest so far. Bring the extreme, and the extreme will come.
The 2015 edition, to be held across 4 venues in Camden, London separated just 100 meters of each other, welcomes various corners of the vast metal spectrum. Headlined by the shoegaze-influenced black metal (that's atmospheric black metal, folks) of Alcest (pictured above), the Norwegian black metal of God Seed and the straight death metal of Swedish veterans Unleashed, Incineration does a beautiful job of uniting the metal world in poetic hair-swinging unison.
