Ana Matronic (born Ana Lynch on 14 August 1974, in San Francisco) is the female lead singer for Scissor Sisters. She joined the group founded by Jake Shears and Babydaddy after they played their first live gig at a cabaret night called Knockoff which she founded and hosted at The Slipper Room on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Prior to moving to New York, Ana lived in San Francisco, where she performed at the drag club Trannyshack and was the first female to reach the finals of the Miss Trannyshack pageant.
