"Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)" is a song by Marvin Gaye, released as the third and final single from his 1971 landmark album, What's Going On. The song was written by Gaye and James Nyx Jr. and produced by Gaye himself. It was recorded in March 1971 at Hitsville USA (Studio A) in a mellow funk style with Gaye playing piano.
