Penticton BC: The good times just got even better with the concert announcement of country superstar, Alan Jackson with special guest George Canyon at the South Okanagan Events Centre on November 14th at 7:30 PM.

Throughout his career, Alan Jackson has sold more than 50 million albums and produced over 30 Number One hits. Some of his most well-known songs include “Don’t Rock the Jukebox”, “Chattahoochee”, “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)”, and “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere”. Jackson continues to produce number one hits with singles “Small Town Southern Man”, “Good Time,” and “Country Boy” all from his most recent album also entitled “Good Time.” The hit album, released last year, debuted at the top of country and pop sales charts the week it was released. Throughout the course of his career, Jackson has been honored with over 45 awards from organizations like the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association (CMA).

Multiple Juno and CCMA award winning Canadian country artist George Canyon will be taking the stage with Alan Jackson. This singer and songwriter caught the country music world’s eye when he competed in Nashville Star 2 in 2004. After the competition ended, he received many accolades from fans and the industry alike including a Juno Award for Best Country Recording of the Year for his album One Good Friend, and four Canadian Country Music Awards Nominations (CCMAs) including Male Vocalist of the Year and the Fan Choice Award.
