"Miss Murder" is a song by American rock band AFI. It was released on April 3, 2006, as the lead single from their seventh studio album Decemberunderground. It was initially scheduled to premiere on LIVE 105 on April 13, 2006; however, it was released early due to overwhelming fan reaction. "Miss Murder" was released to radio on April 25, 2006. It was released in the United Kingdom and Australia on April 24 and July 29, 2006. It was written by Davey Havok and produced by Jerry Finn. It was the band's first US Top 40 hit in their fifteen year career and their first #1 on the Modern Rock chart. The song ranked at #15 on Rolling Stone's "The 100 Best songs of 2006".

The song appeared at the end of the movie My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen. This song also features a director's cut version which is an extent of the song from the beginning to the where the bass guitar begins playing. Japanese pop-singer Kyosuke Himuro covered "Miss Murder" on the album In the Mood. A cover of this song, along with 4 other versions of this song was included in the video game Battle of the Bands. The track was additionally featured as a playable song on Guitar Hero III.

The "director's cut" music video begins with Prelude 12/21. A woman sits on a settee and writes a note during the instrumental beginning. Davey Havok begins singing, eyes closed and hands folded, opening his eyes on the first "sleep" of the verse. The rest of the band is seen entering a large circular hall and setting up their instruments. Havok is sitting at a table, singing to the camera. At the end of Prelude 12/21, the woman, whose face cannot be seen, eats the note. Havok pulls it out of his mouth, reads it, and looks up to sing Miss Murder. As he sings, he walks out of the room and stands on a balcony in front of a huge crowd. The video cuts between him and the woman walking, holding a black rabbit. When the woman enters the courtyard, Havok sees her and there are shots of him inside, facing a mirror. A rabbit comes close to the chair, and he picks it up. There is another shot of him outside, with four banners featuring the members of the band on the wall. At the very end, he is facing the mirror again and the woman, presumably "Miss Murder," touches the back of his neck and he closes his eyes again. The last shot is of the rabbit.
