Just amazing song, no matter who it sounds like, it sounds goddamn incredible, passionate and emotional on a level few bands can pull off. kills me every time I hear it.

You're lying to yourself if you don't think this song sounds like radiohead. However, I don't think this song is that representative of Anathema as a whole (plus the newest album sounds in no way like radiohead).

Yeah, they do sound like Radiohead. But that's not a bad thing, because they don't suck. Certainly aren't better, or quite as good as, Radiohead (at least on this song) but the influence is blatant.

"radiohead? nope, this song > everything radiohead ever put together. [4]" What a ridiculous commentary... Don't wanna contribute to the Radiohead comparison, but this commentary is just silly, no matter if you like Radiohead or not. You can't compare a song with a discography of what is one of the most unique, thoughtful and ever-changing bands out there today. They're brilliant musicians, get over it :-P

Is it like a rule on Last.fm to compare every goddamn song and band to Radiohead?

Whoever tagged this as doom metal (or metal in general) is probably deaf... the most appropriate tag I'd say it's 'progressive rock'. But no matter the tag, this is really a beautiful song.
