Running With The Wolves is the debut extended play by Norwegian singer AURORA, released on May 4, 2015 through Decca, Glassnote and Petroleum Records.
After the release of her second single Under Stars, AURORA began working on more songs, which would be featured on her debut EP. Runaway, the first and lead single, was released on February 7th, receiving more attention worldwide and on social media. On February 29, a music video for the song was released. Subsequently, the second and final single, Running With The Wolves, was released to promote the EP's post-release. The album contains two other songs, Little Boy In The Grass and In Boxes. The music video for the track that gives the EP its title was released in June.
According to AURORA, each song on the EP has a different theme, which she described as "one very morbid, one dreamy, one animalistic, and one very sad."
The vinyl EP includes AURORA's two previous separate singles: Under Stars and a 2015 version of Awakening.
In 2016, the EP won the award for "Norwegian Album Of The Year" at the European Border Breaker Awards (EBBA Awards), now called Music Moves Europe Awards.
