"Through The Eyes Of A Child" is a song by AURORA, released for her debut album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend. It is the seventh track on the album.

It is about AURORA's childlike philosophy. She said: "That song is about how I'd rather see the world through the eyes of a child because everything is a bit better."

She explained to The Independent: "I care a lot about people's inner child and I am very determined to never lose my inner child. I get why we need all these layers to survive. It is a very tough world I think sometimes we forget that child, sometimes we lose it and I think that's a bad thing."

In another interview, she said: " is one of the most important songs for me. It's about, the older you get, the more you see, and it's kind of like you miss the times when you thought everyone was nice, and that everything was nice, because it's hard to know all the darkness. Also we have lots of light, and I know that as well. But it's kind of like wanting to go back to the innocence, and see the world through the eyes of a child. It's a very important song for me."

• The mini-documentary Into The Light includes footage of the recording process of "Through The Eyes of A Child", shots of drafts of its lyrics and snippets of the final song.
• AURORA wrote the song in August 2015, during the final stages of making her debut album, because she needed another song for the album at the last moment.
