What can I say about this classic! If only Bobby Brown would've stayed on this path. I LOVE late 80's/early 90's R&B

Crazy to think that he "peaked" in his career before he was old enough to legally drink. Dude was massive in the late 80s. He could do everything. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q39E_DgfHqs

oh wow...20 years. unbelievable. the memories...1989, beginning high school senior year. but when this jam was released in fall 1989 bobby's multiplatinum #1 album don't be cruel was already a year old and had produced 5 monster hits. well this made it 6 monster hits, especially the remix and video brown released for it. bobby brown was definitely a king of r&b then. emerging powerhouse production teams, laface and teddy riley contributed to the album and the exposure helped launch their careers as premier r&b/pop producers. bobby still seems to get no respect but there is love for him on JNez@thirtydaes.2009
