Totally did not see them teasing a new album on the Facebook page two years ago, whoops. Whatever Reese and the guys are working on, I hope it comes out real soon.

Man, I wish.. I could deal with FIF being gone a year if it meant that we finally got a new BSS album.

"If you're having a hard time getting into AM, give it 2 or 3 good listens and you will change your mind, really. It just happened to me. It's a challenging record, but an absolute masterpiece." [2]

I love the wall-of-sound, noisier sound of AM. The instrumentation is very different from their other stuff and actually much more in step with my taste. This is definitely my favorite in the trilogy, and I'm daring to say that only 5 songs into it. I think the rest will prove itself as well.

AM was so much more of a layered album than I'd anticipated... a great album, but I'm gonna have to take some time to warm up to it.

I'm a latecomer to the BSS fanclub. Ordered SFFH a few weeks ago and it's nice but ok. Just got the second one and it's much better... lots of very likeable songs and I anticipate playing it a lot in the next weeks. I'll be ordering AM pretty soon here.

How can you rate AM as weaker than SFFH? SFFH is choc full of lame cheesiness...it's still ok, but I really struggle to take it seriously. TLOTHF and AM are light years ahead of SFFH in terms of maturity and overall quality.

I've listened to Anti-Meridian almost nonstop since I got it. Definitely seems like the weakest in the trilogy, to me, but still pretty nice. Begin Again is absolutely amazing, and I'm liking These Frail Hands and Inuictus better the more I hear them. Underground is pretty fun, too. I cringe at the inimitable Reese Roper cheesiness of Blessed Are the Landmines, but I just view that as part of the experience! Plus, it took so long for them to get my pre-ordered cd to me that Reese autographed it right under a note that says "Sorry we are slow." Thrilling! =D

Yeah, the Anti-Meridian is definitely a good album. Way different from their other stuff, and admittedly cheesy at times, but not to the point where it's not likable. And there are some REALLY good tracks on there (Starling, Blessed Are The Land Mines, Invictus, These Frail Hands). Overall, I heartily recommend it. You just can't go wrong with a BSS album if you ask me.

ive been waiting years for the 3rd in the trilligy! was beggining to think it was never coming after all the record lable trouble with Roper. if you don't like burn too fast then im pretty sure it will be the only song on the album in that horror rock FIF style. after all Giants was the only song like it in FIF. I like both songs (Giants, and burn too fast) though, probably the most original thing that Rese and the guys every did. grace and peace!

'When You Burn Too Fast' isn't the first thing I think of when it comes to BS2 but it is in the same vain of 'Giants' or even 'Shadow of Def' in terms of obscurity. It makes me laugh every time I hear the first 15 seconds.

So...it's June and still no release date and no more sample tracks. Disappointed? Yes. Surprised? No.

Thoughts on Starling? It's just what I expected, which is kinda good and kinda bad...

the rumors are true, barring some unforseen catastrophy, reese roper will be playing two shows at soulfest this year. also, the third installment of the brave saint saturn saga, entitled anti meridian is nearing completion. look for it around june, as well as the reformation of www.bravesaintsaturn.com. posted by Roper's myspace

Hey, if I really liked the 2nd album, would the 1st be similar? Recommendations?

Anyone find it odd that BSS have 2 different songs with exactly the same name (Prologue)? Don't see that very often... And yes, they're doing BSS3, slowly but surely. Reese says so on his myspace (www.myspace.com/fiveironsucks)

I know that Reese, Leanor, and the band are working with Scum of the Earth, so they haven't been doing anything musically for a while.

Has anyone heard from Reese in a while? He seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.

If only we knew that the 3rd album would come out... that would cure my depression.
