Soiled Doves started as a drama workshop. The story revolves around three working women in the old west. In the fall of 2006 Christy wrote the music and lyrics which helped define the story and brought the characters to life. That same year, Richard Hess (Chair of CCM drama), who attended the Soiled Doves performance, asked Christy to write music for CCM’s 2007 fall main stage drama. It was a play written by Naomi Iizuka called Anon. Richard got permission from the playwright to add music to her play. Christy wrote seven songs and took on the role of musical director for the production. Anon won the Cincinnati ACCLAIM award for best play of the season.

From the age of five, Christy performed in Community Theater productions in and around Bucks County PA. She attended Pennsbury high school and participated in school productions and choirs. From 1999-2004 Christy performed each year at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 2004, Christy was a NFFA (National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts) winner for musical theater. At age sixteen, Christy signed with her current manager Edie Robb and began her professional career.
