Jessica "Jessi" Alexander (born November 18, 1972 in Jackson, Tennessee) is an American country music singer and songwriter. She co-wrote "The Climb" (with Jon Mabe) for the 2009 Miley Cyrus' film Hannah Montana: The Movie. Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood and Little Big Town have also recorded her compositions.
Alexander launched her recording career in 2004. Columbia Records released her debut album Honeysuckle Sweet on March 1, 2005, but she was dropped from the label in 2006.
She joined 18 South in 2010.
