You can very much hear how much Pulse Demon had an influence on Taylor Swift's "Teardrops on My Guitar"

i love merzbow!! i love the pure static merzbow shits out of his ass which proceeds to rape my ears with the lovely screeching sound of auditory gore!!! i love the absolute agony i go through when i listen to the horrific grinding noises of randomly clashed together barely perceivable sounds that sound like the personification of a piercing headache paired with period cramps and some creep at the gas station staring at your tits or something!!!! i love merzbow!! i love merzbow!!! experimental industrial noise for life!! i will raise my children on this stuff and impregnate my male spouse to Ultra Marine Blues (^w^) (ion have a cock but ill figure it out) live laugh love merzbow, tissuechan out.

Not any music can compete for the title of "loud and unlistenable". If this counts as the most experimental and ear piercing artist then the music industry is cooked. I've listened to many underground experimental records and none of them actually shocked me, except maybe NWW. So basically all the music is pretty accessible if you have some experience in listening sessions. Merzbow is good for relaxation when you're angry because the constant wall of sound is gluing into one single sound which can sound extremely chill if you get used to it.

Merzbow really cleans your ears idk how to explain, but it somehow helps you focus and when you actually listen to music it all sounds better

i can't lie they have some very interesting releases and the day I was able to understand the art better I really did gain a new appreciation for noise as not just a genre but a tool for all music.

I like it. I’m still kinda new to noise music but I do like it, a little loud though

Feeling depressed enhances my creativity. Listening to Merzbow makes my head hurt, which causes me to feel sad. Listening to Merzbow can improve my creativity for a x period of time, when this time can be useful to, for example, philosophical reflection. It's a matter of cause and consequence, and I think this artist/genre can be much well used, if with the right intentions.

iirc he was one of the first to have releases in the US through Relapse Records, also the reason why Venerology/Pulse Demon/Tauromachine got remasters (it's also the reason why Pulse Demon is his most popular album alongside its eyecatching album cover)

If you see me listening to this, please know I'm just using it to clean the wax out of my earbuds, I would never be pretentious enough to actually sit down and listen to this.
