I think this is becoming one of my favorite Ryan albums. Slowly, but gradually. :)

only recently started listening and haven't gotten entirely into this album yet but i have to say the production is some of the most amazing i've heard since Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden. everything just sounds so distinct, especially the drums. the warmth and vibrancy of "Come Pick Me Up" is to die for.

I wasnt going to check other comments but /theblackjay/ says something i feel as well. Ryan Air Adams once said in an interview: ''Everybody tells me how they love Heartbreaker. I cant understand how people can connect to that pain'' Then he said one othe sincere thing. That, when the record came out, his mother listened to it and called to see if he's ok!.. Whatever This record is perfect from beginning to the end. Sincerity 110%

I don't know if this album could be more aptly named. Everything about it is heart-breaking. I think it's something to do with the honesty in his voice. I believe every word he says.

hints of Dylan, The Stones and Fleetwood Mac How is he like FM on this album? I'm not saying I think that's wrong--I just haven't picked up on that.

Loved this before but lately I've loved it so much more. This and 29 are his best. Both perfect from start to finish. Both beautiful. One about heartache, the other about suicide ... I feel like such a sad person!
