Biography
Will Banister plays traditional country music. He sings his original hits along with singing other artists songs such as George Jones' "White Lightening". He is from Portales, NM, USA. His influences include George Strait and Merle Haggard. He has played in Eastern New Mexico and West Texas along with Nashville, the UK, Ireland and France. He and his band The Modern Day Ramblers played with Gene Watson and were an introductory band for Reba McIntyre in the UK.
His producer Johnny Mulhair who produced Leigh Ann Rime's "Blue" is from Clovis, NM (close to Portales). He produced both of Will's albums "Turned Her On To Country" and "Turn Back Time". Johnny is part of Will's band The Modern Day Ramblers. The song from the album of the same name "Turned Her On To Country hit #1 on the UK music charts.
