I saw Weezer with Smashing Pumpkins on Friday and i couldn't think of another lastfmian to share this with (i presume that's what somebody from lastfm is called. a lastfmian, or maybe a lastfmite, or a lastfmano, or a lastfmer, or a lastfmali. i cant think of any more demonyms, i'm sticking with lastfmian) and I was going to type something else right here but i really derailed myself with those suffixes and can't remember what i was going to write. Anyway it was good

that sounds like something I would like, I've seen the Pumpkins live before, but never Weezer, I'm sure it was great tho! Btw if you ever want to talk more you can add me on discord, I'm nfopuhfxir there, the same as everywhere

100% agree on the flawed tbh. There’s some artists where they have too many unnecessary albums/ introduction on the list, lack of metal besides the popular bands like Sabbath, Metallica, etc. (Though some grindcore albums make an appearance which is🤌) Unpopular picks to an artists instead of their most popular and critically acclaimed(Lana and SOAD for example) In The Wee being the oldest album here feels wrong and too many Brit-Pop albums(Makes sense since the author is British) Though, theres some upside ofc, discovered LCD Soundsystem through this book and fast forward to today and now they’ve become one of my fav artists of all time.

I actually use a generator website where it generates a new album from the book ever day at 12AM Manila Time https://1001albumsgenerator.com/ (The link) Currently at 295 albums rn and the more albums I’ve rated, the more I’ve regretted some scores I’ve given lol(That is expected) I regretted a lot of 5 stars like L.A. Woman, The Chronic, You Want It Darker and Ambient 1 and lower scores that I wish I’ve rated higher like Junkyard and Made In Japan but that’s the best part of this book tbh

I don't really rate music by numbers anymore, but if I did I'm pretty sure Ambient 1 would be a solid 5, not sure about the others tho. Cool that you're finding allot of new records from the that site

My name is Walter Hartwell White. I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87104. This is my confession. If you're watching this tape, I'm probably dead, murdered by my brother-in-law Hank Schrader. Hank has been building a meth empire for over a year now and using me as his chemist. Shortly after my 50th birthday, Hank came to me with a rather, shocking proposition. He asked that I use my chemistry knowledge to cook methamphetamine, which he would then sell using his connections in the drug world. Connections that he made through his career with the DEA. I was... astounded, I... I always thought that Hank was a very moral man and I was... thrown, confused, but I was also particularly vulnerable at the time, something he knew and took advantage of. I was reeling from a cancer diagnosis that was poised to bankrupt my family. Hank took me on a ride along, and showed me just how much money even a small meth operation could make. And I was weak. I didn't want my family to

go into financial ruin so I agreed. Every day, I think back at that moment with regret. I quickly realized that I was in way over my head, and Hank had a partner, a man named Gustavo Fring, a businessman. Hank essentially sold me into servitude to this man, and when I tried to quit, Fring threatened my family. I didn't know where to turn. Eventually, Hank and Fring had a falling out. From what I can gather, Hank was always pushing for a greater share of the business, to which Fring flatly refused to give him, and things escalated. Fring was able to arrange, uh I guess I guess you call it a "hit" on my brother-in-law, and failed, but Hank was seriously injured, and I wound up paying his medical bills which amounted to a little over $177,000. Upon recovery, Hank was bent on revenge, working with a man named Hector Salamanca, he plotted to kill Fring, and did so. In fact, the bomb that he used was built by me, and he gave me no option in it. I have often contemplated suicide, but I'm a co

ward. I wanted to go to the police, but I was frightened. Hank had risen in the ranks to become the head of the Albuquerque DEA, and about that time, to keep me in line, he took my children from me. For 3 months he kept them. My wife, who up until that point, had no idea of my criminal activities, was horrified to learn what I had done, why Hank had taken our children. We were scared. I was in Hell, I hated myself for what I had brought upon my family. Recently, I tried once again to quit, to end this nightmare, and in response, he gave me this. I can't take this anymore. I live in fear every day that Hank will kill me, or worse, hurt my family. I... All I could think to do was to make this video in hope that the world will finally see this man, for what he really is.

I don't think Eminem hasn't had a good album since 2002, since I do like Relapse, MM2, Kamikaze, & even Recovery, but this new song was awesome and hilarious, I missed that side of em. I have high hopes for this album

I’m allot more careful about who I follow these days and I don’t really know you tbh, there are allot of new users that I like but don’t follow, don’t take it personally. Tbh it’s pretty arbitrary who I choose to follow these days. I try my best to be nice but I don’t have to follow anyone (and no one has to follow me)

Heyyy, sorry for not responding to our conversion earlier, I actually was drafting a response in my notes but I never got around to finishing it. I’ll post a response tomorrow. Anyway, Talking Heads, it’s a standard answer but my fav album is Remain in Light, although I do like the debut and Speaking in Tongues allot too.

Heyyy sorry myself for not responding to both these convos. I'll get to the other one eventually. Big messages scare me cause it takes up so much time and mental energy but im really into it aswell but with recent events it's added so much more to talk about ahh maybe I should start drafting bits and pieces aswell. But yeah good choice. I love all their albums up True Stories. RiL is hard to deny though. Personally I'm not a huge fan of some of the later tracks on that album. Fear of Music is amazing could be my favourite on xertain days and More Buildings superrr underrated

I need to play the later Talking Heads albums more often, I only got really into them recently. Imagine how much better of a person I would be if I had grow up listening to them lol. Once in a Lifetime is arguably one of, if not my favorite songs ever. And take your time with the response, I already said everything I wanted to express so I’m in no rush, but I’m fine seeing where the conversation goes if you want to keep talking.

hello old friend. just sat here at work pretending i'm doing emails but actually i'm comparing our compatibility from your old profile and new profile, is that weird? probably weirder that i'm actually telling you i'm doing that, anyway dont tell my boss thanks. 95% compatibility on this profile and 83% on your newer profile, i thought this was interesting to see how your compatibility (i guess with me specifically) changed over the years. What is the compatibility when you compare your old profile to your new profile? hope you're keeping well! ps i had to use autocorrect to spell compatibility every single time i've used it in this shout that word sucks

It’s not weird at all lol! I was just checking your profile actually. That’s one of the things I like about having two accounts, I can compare my tastes from when I was younger vs now. I’ve definitely made an effort to expand my taste and explore different genres (like jazz, metal etc), which is probably why the compatibility is lower on the newer one. And right now I’m doing alright, I’m finishing up classes and looking for internships for the summer. I’m graduating next year, if I'm being honest my college years weren’t the greatest, but at least I’m largely on track to being independent and living life on my own, which is something to be proud of.

I’d love it if there was a site where I could compare certain time frames of my life like teens, 20s and now 30s etc and see what the major differences compatibility (thanks again autocorrect) between them was, pretty cool you have the two profiles for that. Super rad you’ll be graduating, congrats! Really glad to hear things are going well

Hey, I'm looking for jazz/ambient albums with a cyberpunk/noirish feel. Examples: Sunset Mission by Bohren & Der Club of Gore, Twin Peaks Soundtrack, Blade Runner soundtrack, Low by David Bowie (well, second half mainly) & Round About Midnight by Miles Davis. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks

I know some jazz bands that make music similar to Bohren & Der Club of Gore like Mare and aging which are both highly underrated and deserve more attention. I don't know many other albums that sound like the Twin Peaks soundtrack and Blade Runner soundtrack except for Stratosfear by Tangerine Dream

the tunic OST by Lifeformed has a bit of a cyberpunk feel, though a bit on the more airy/lighter side. Spirit Estuary is my favorite track from there. the Shadowrun OSTs are also good. Shadowrun: Hong Kong by Jon Everist has more of an eastern influence throughout. Some lone tracks are fortress of lies from the nier automata OST, Ophir the broken city of the technomancer by Oliver Deriviere, part 5, 9 and 10 of the smash hit OST by douglas holmquist.

You know who’s a cool character? Char Aznable. Char Aznable is probably the coolest character ever from the classic Mobile Suit Gundam series. The reasons why he’s the coolest is because he pilots a red Zaku II, that means he can go 3x faster than a normal Zaku II, and ultimately cooler than the sad boy Gouf. Char Aznable has a secret identity also, he;s actually the son of Zeon Zum Deikum, Casval Rem Deikun. Char Aznable wants to get revenge on the Zabi family, who killed his family. Char Aznable joins the Principality of Zeon forces to infiltrate them and totally did not betray them. Char Aznable gets his revenge and then becomes Quatttro Bajeena who is a kick ass, shades wearing dude who pilots and all gold Mobile suit called the Hyaku Shiki. It's kick ass because it's gold and has a cool name. Quattro trains Kmaille Bidan. His mother dies so thats cool like Char Aznable. He gets slapped alot which is not cool. Anyways This is why Char Aznable is the best and Char Aznable did nothin

Char Aznable (シャア・アズナブル, Shaa Azunaburu), born Casval Rem Deikun (キャスバル・レム・ダイクン, Kyasubaru Remu Daikun) and also known as Édouard Mass (エドワウ・マス, Edowau Masu), is a fictional character from the Gundam franchise. He is originally one of the main antagonists in Mobile Suit Gundam working for the Principality of Zeon, named after his late father Zeon Zum Deikun, with the honorary title of "The Red Comet" (赤い彗星, Akai Suisei) during Gundam's One Year War. Despite having opposed Earth Federation soldier Amuro Ray several times, in the sequel Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam he becomes Quattro Bajeena (クワトロ・バジーナ, Kuwatoro Bajīna), an Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) pilot fighting alongside the series' main characters against the elitist Titans. In his final appearance in Char's Counterattack, he assumes leadership of the Neo Zeon movement, and becomes the titular antagonist of the film.

Yea, I don’t think I’ve seen someone get rated so hard on last.fm lmao @dieinhellfire, nobody asked you, also I have her as my pfp cause I’m a fan of her music and not just cause I think she’s pretty, it’s Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star which is a big influence on several of the artists you listen to so I suggest you give her some more respect

Hi, thanks for leaving the comment! Yes, comics are one of my many interests, and I’m a big fan of Morrison, Doom Patrol is probably my favorite thing from him, but Animal Man is pretty great as well. I’ve not read We3 yet but I’ll try to get my hands on it. Btw if you liked that I highly suggest checking on Animal Man by Jeff Lemire, it’s definitely a worthy sequel and the grotesque/bizarre artwork is particularly great.
