hehehe yes i know it confuses me too its like i was living in between Realms lol :) yes so i guess you're half Welsh cool :) . I find Arthurian Legends/Folklore very intriguing and close to my heart as i love the magical side of it. Have you seen the "Merlin"film but the version where Sam Neil plays Merlin? i prefer that version its so good, because i love the costumes. Ah lets see as far as seeing bands in B'ham i've seen,"The Creatures " AKA Siouxsie & The Banshees i was spellbound!!! also seen David Bowie,Susperia,Christian Death,London After Midnight. I'm not into Cyber or Fetish music to be honest it bores me,as i don't like that kind stuff i've tried listening to it but alas i prefer real traditional goth music, with hints of vampiric style clean vocals with a hint of cheerfulness ( which is present in the guitar melodies)think "Moon child by Fields, yet a lavish array of keyboards and real emotion that you can feel (ok maybe some bats thrown into the mixture lol) hehehehe

Hi :) Oh thats cool i know Birmingham very well i studied at Aston University but i grew up on the borders between Hereford & Worcester so basically the Welsh & English border, which can be a tad bit confusing to explain but i guess it still counts as the Midlands :) my mother was born in Birmingham though :) as for Wales yes they do have some beautiful castles,i want to visit Tintagel one day the place where Merlin was supposed to of foreseen a great battle he saw red dragon to represent Wales and a white dragon to represent England either way,i think it's a cool place . I used to go to a few goth night clubs back in the days before they built that horrible building in the Bull ring thing hehehe yes the Mercat that place was awesome,i loved it,and the Toreador. Have you heard of ' Corpus Delicti ' ? if you haven't check them out :) So which live goth bands have you seen in good o'l B'ham???

Thanks I definitly will, I believe I'll have to give funhouse another chance besides I've only heard a record by them so it's just fair enough. Another 90's band I find very enjoyable are Suspiria, glad you like cinema strange and usherhouse they are some of my all time favourites and yeah Rosetta stone is a very excellent band I can do nothing but agree! :)

Amazing taste! I have some recommendations if you don't mind don't know if you ever have heard of cinema strange it's a bit obscure people I've recommended them to have had hard time to understand them but I can easly say it's one of my favourites! The second one is asylum party which is french post-punk and the third and last Usherhouse which I belive is one of the greatest band from the 90's, honestly I've had a very hard time getting into the second goth wave I believe it's beacuse of the "vampiric theme" most of the band seems to have taken like two witches and funhouse that might be beacuse it makes me think that it must have influenced bands such like the 69 eyes and him....but it's maybe just me over analyzing!

Hey, man! Show me some bands, please! I like punk rock, originally, but also post punk and its subdivisions. Started listening to Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, but I don't think I know much. Thanks.
