Adam Ant definitively sold out to the eyes of many with this record, which was far more accessible than the radical Dirk Wears White Sox. But aside from the beloved "Antmusic" and other bits and bobs here and there, what's striking about this record is just how unique it sounds; a real primal and cultural melting pop of sounds. Just listen to "Dog Eat Dog"... it's a damn fine battle-cry.

Superb album, one of the best of 1980. The 2 CD remaster is a must have. The drumming and the vocals are just awesome on this album.

My first ever LP, 30 years ago. It forced my parents to buy me my own record player, because they hated it so much, ha ha. Still great!

Adam Ant was the first concert I ever attended. INXS opened for him and I still remember every minute of it!

Also my very first album. Wow - already 28 years ago! And the good thing is: Even today it's not embarrassing to tell anybody.
