Elin Alberte Winding or simply Alberte (b. 23rd August 1963) is a danish singer and actor. Alberte started as a pop musician in the tradition of . On later albums she refined this style with slight country and latin feels, creating a smooth and warm sound that has become her trademark. She has made several albums for children - notably her biggest seller "Tju Bang Chokolademand" - but her approach hides the difference between child and adult spheres - making the albums equally enjoyable for any age group.

Since 2001 she has worked closely with the saxophonist and composer Benjamin Koppel, with whom she in 2002 released the CD "Alberte Winding / Benjamin Koppel" on the small independent label Cowbell Music.

Her family is generally known to be very artistic, and her brothers Kasper Winding and Aske Bentzon both make music as well, as did her father Thomas Winding (died 2008). Some of her work is made in cooperation with Jan Rørdam.

In the last couple of years she has collaborated with a younger genration like Thomas W. Raae from Källing
