I just realized 2020 was the first year I missed attending a Jukebox concert (since having discovered them) and I am disappointed by the entirety of last year all over again.

I mean, they're great other than the constant screaming girls from the audience. [2] I should say, I definitely don't mind that there are young girls in the audience (having been one once), it is the screaming that I don't like (much harder to hear).

I'm a bit disappointed with the new album, the lyrics are very forgettable and some of the tracks are way too similar. It doesn't show Ben's piano skills off well either. There's a couple of great tracks on there though in Hollywood and The Great Unknown.

I reviewed the new album and would love to hear everyone's thoughts. http://thealtvibe.tumblr.com/post/100862571686/album-review-jukebox-the-ghost-jukebox-the-ghost

I think The Great Unknown might be their push to get on the radio. Come back in a few months to find out...great song nonetheless!

I have to agree with the last two posters. The new album is a lot more "pop" then they were before. The songs still stay in your ear for a while, but it doesn't have the same impact that Safe Travels and Everything Under The Sun had. Im still glad to have more from this awesome band.

New album is pretty good, but its definitely a letdown. Its got a couple good moments like Girl and Made For Ending, but it's pretty basic compared to their old stuff. It's really unfortunate.

Can't say I agree with that ♥ . Musically there's nothing too offensive about the new song, but man, are those lyrics some of the most trite lyrics I've heard from the band. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt though, because even on the last album (which I loved) there was a number of tunes with some solidly clever lyrics (Adulthood) for every song that had more simplistic lyrics (Somebody).

Still one of the best examples of Indie Rock/Indie Pop. I would be so happy with a new album.

One of the most underrated bands of all time. [2] I used to be one of those assholes who wanted to keep bands all to myself, but everyone should love Jukebox the Ghost. If you don't, then it's the same as kicking a newborn puppy off a cliff.

Jukebox the Ghost is amazing. Cant wait for their show in philly this fall. Also can't wait for Ben Folds Five! They have reunited and have a new album coming out in september. I can't stop listening to the one track that was released, Do it Anyway.

Normally Ben's songs hit me first and Tommy's grow on me until I love them like children - differently but equally. This album, the opposite. Have I changed or have they? Another great album, guys. And always amazing live!

Just searched through Indie-Rock bands and thought to myself "man, are they all this boring?" ... And all of a sudden, I found these guys. Amazing stuff. Really love their energy : )

Oh, Emily is pretty solid and Say When is kind of strange, but not shitty in the slightest. It has a nice breakdown for the last minute or so. Man in the Moon is a nice quiet little song, too. And Half Crazy made a great companion to Schizophrenia on the last album.
