"I'm Your Boogie Man" is a song written and produced by Harry Wayne Casey and Richard Finch, and performed by Casey's band KC and the Sunshine Band from the band's fourth album Part 3 (1976). Richard Finch stated that "I'm Your Boogie Man" was written about a DJ at a Miami, Florida, radio station called Robert W. Walker, who was the first to give their hit single "Get Down Tonight" airplay.
In 1977 the single reached the #1 position on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and in the Canadian RPM charts. The single also reached #3 on the R&B charts, #9 on Disco charts, and #41 in the UK. Billboard ranked "I'm Your Boogie Man" as the #11 song of 1977.
