Let’s Start Here. is Lil Yachty’s fifth studio album, it is a direct follow up to his April 2021 mixtape Michigan Boy Boat.
The first mention of the album’s existence dates back to a tweet from May 2, 2022, quote:
"I try not to tweet cus I know y’all want album… I’ll come back with that.. best one yet promise."
Upon the release of “Poland,” Lil Yachty would reveal that his next album would be released next year in the description of the track.
On December 25, 2022, the album would unfortunately be leaked in its entirety — the album was alleged to drop next month along with a Concrete Boys mixtape. Four days later, Yachty would go on AMP to confirm that the title was in-fact not Sonic Ranch. The tentative title was mistaken for the studio the album was recorded in.
On January 13, 2023, the album cover, title and release date would leak through a vinyl release website. Yachty would officially release a trailer via Youtube on January 24, 2023.
