I always include Ronnie; on my 'Easy Listening' players. He really did exemplary covers of the contemporary pop hits of the day. He did a series of albums for Decca, that were standouts in the genre. Done in the proprietary 'Phase 4' stereo format. Particularly: "Two Pianos For Today", with Ronnie's rendition of John Barry's "You Only Live Twice". A standout favorite of mine, among many. Check-out his: "Going Continental" dual LPs. Aldrich does a great cover of Maurice Jarre's: "Is Paris Burning?" Great on a mix with: James Last, Bert Kaempfert, The Jackie Gleason Orchestra, Roland Shaw, and Floyd Cramer.

Ronnie provided the ultimate in so-called "elevator music", however his albums always had high production values and are throughly enjoyable in their own right.
