Well, what do you know? She has not one but TWO new albums out right now. Not just "Shipwrecked", but also "Flowers", which apparently is a compilation of the materials from the unreleased 80s albums. I only found out about it through pure chance, though. There's no promotion whatsoever for them, as of this moment Sandy doesn't even have a website of her own! But whatever, I'm glad she's still making music, after all.

uncle_jed, thanks for the link. :) however, it is hard to believe that there are still American artists with a problematic discography like Ms. Dillon's...

AMG mentions these two albums, apart from the regular Sandy's albums: 'Dancing on the Freeway' and ' Skating'. is it possible to find these two albums anywhere?

bad luck blues is breathtaking. I heard a good portrait in german radio.. she went through hard stuff it seems. and she's got a good humour. anyway. las vegas is cursed is a great album, apart from that I often think the music is not appropriate for her voice.. like it would have been good if she had worked with more experimental musicians..

The new album is neat, but really not her strongest. But anyway, there are some good things on it, like "Bad Luck Blues".

Her last album sounds so Tom Waits-ish.. Also her biography was kinda hard to find on the internet but I found some stuffs and I wrote something in the wiki, don't hesitate to correct things ;)

I still didn't get much into Pull The Strings so far, although there are some really great tracks on it. But until now I still prefer Electric Chair and Nobody's Sweetheart. Anyway... What is with those unreleased albums from the 80s? Did they eventually ever see the light of day?
