Greetings! My pet waterbird has come out of retirement, and will be making the rounds shortly among yaz that submitted your #1 most played tracks from 2022. Like myself, he is getting old and doesn't move as quickly as he used to, sometimes even getting lost enroute. However, like his buddy the desert tortoise, he eventually gets to where he is going. He will begin his journey in the next few hrs, and assures me that unless he passes into eternity before completion of his mission, he will accomplish the task of dropping the link for the playlist in every participant's inbox some time between Today 1/13, and the end of this weekend.. Thanks for your partipation and patience:*_*)

HiYa! It has been a long time between shouts. Just recently discovered Tom Petty's original band Mudcrutch, but see you are a longtime listener. i am really digging them, possibly even more than Petty's later stuff. Favorite album/track?

Ahh Mudcrutch, if you ever get a chance, watch the documentary on Tom's career "Runnin Down a Dream" - he has a hilarious introduction to the name behind the band. I'd say "Orphan of the Storm" and "Six Days on the Road" are two of my all time favorite tracks, both on the self-titled Mudcrutch album from 2008, great stuff!

I've seen the live set he did with bassist Tal Wilkenfeld (I believe was at Ronnie's) several times...nice discovery she was, eh )... and I'm somewhat familiar with some of his more mainstream material. Thanks for the recommendation, I do need to dig deeper into his catalog, and I appreciate your tastes. Keep rockin'

Hi! I came by to recommend an album. "The Snake King" by Rick Springfield. Yes - I know - I was expecting power pop - but this is far from that. Heavy religious overtones - Rocking and bluesy. So lyrically strong. Best thing I've heard in a long time!

HiYa! i just dropped by to see what You have been listening to lately, and i must say your recent listens look pretty danged interesting. i saw Chuck Prophet perform as part of GreenOnRed a few times at the IBeam(SF) back in the late '80s. He added energy and pure genius to their sound, making them one of my favorite live bands from that period.

"BLUE & LONESOME" is a quite good Blues album! But the Rock'n'Roll seniors home has many rooms. An obituary can already be staged at lifetime. Nothing against old rockstars like the Stones, but what is missing today, one notices in comparison with their earlier recordings. At that time, in the late sixties and early seventies, they played in a climate of violence and sexual greed, and sounded like they were dealing with the devil...
